About our family
Smith & McNeill Company is a family-run transportation business based in Baltimore, Maryland. Rooted in traditional Southern values, we bring genuine hospitality, flexibility, and dedication to every shipment we move.
Maryland roots, Southern heart
Though proudly based right here in the great state of Maryland, our heritage and approach remain deeply Southern. To us, business is personal. We treat every client like family, taking time to understand your individual moving and freight requirements so you always receive genuine care, clear communication, and dependable service from pickup to delivery.
Our answer is always yes
We set out with one founding principle: never tell a customer no. Whether it means adapting to fit a tight residential budget, solving an unexpected logistics puzzle, or welcoming last-minute freight add-ons, we find a way to make it happen. We sleep with your peace of mind at the forefront of our work every night.

We prioritize the everyday shipping and transport needs of residential customers while maintaining the equipment and capacity to support commercial logistics. From treasured household belongings to critical business freight, our family takes pride in delivering each load safely and on schedule.
